Although the development of AC servo motors is quite rapid, it is still difficult to replace DC servo motors in these fields.

The conventional DC speed control system includes two feedback loops, ie, a speed loop and a current loop, and uses a tachometer, a current sensor (Hall device), and an analog electronic circuit to achieve closed-loop speed control. Modern digital DC servo control uses a high-speed digital signal processor (DSP) to directly sample the speed and current signals, and realizes various functions such as digital comparison, digital adjustment operation (digital filtering), digital pulse width modulation, and other functions through software. Precise control of speed. Compared with the two, the analog speed control system has a simple structure, low cost, and high reliability, but the debugging is more complicated because the modification of its circuit parameters often requires hardware changes; while the digital speed control system has a complex structure and high cost, but the adjustment Speed accuracy is high and the commissioning process is easier. The performance of the speed control system can be controlled by software.

The following describes a method, between the analog speed control and digital speed control, that is, using a programmable analog device (ISPPAC10) to achieve analog speed control system, the system's circuit parameters can be adjusted by software, and can be established The system model is simulated. By adopting this method, an original dc governor, an automatic zoom system of a CCD camera, was improved, and good results were obtained.

Analog speed control system is generally composed of two closed loops, both speed closed loop and current closed loop, in order to enable the two to coordinate and play a role in the system, set up two regulators, respectively, adjust the speed and current. The two feedback closed loops employ a nested structure with a ring and a ring in the structure. This is a so-called double closed loop speed control system. It has the advantages of fast dynamic response, strong anti-interference ability, etc., and is therefore widely used.

In the debugging process of the analog speed control system, because the parameters of the motor or the mechanical characteristics of the load are quite different from the theoretical values, it is often necessary to frequently replace R, C and other components to change the circuit parameters to obtain the expected dynamic performance index. It is very troublesome to do it. If programmable analog devices are used to form the regulator circuit, system parameters such as gain, bandwidth, and even circuit structure can be modified by software, and debugging is very convenient.

Analog circuits can be easily designed and implemented using programmable analog devices. With his design analog speed control circuit, the parameters and structure of the circuit can be adjusted by software, making the debugging process very simple. It should be noted that the operating voltage of this type of device generally does not exceed 5V.
