Planetary gear motor definition
- May 24, 2018 -

First, planetary reducer:

Planets of planetary reducers refer to the layout of the motor gears, because the gears of planetary geared motors are three pinion gears that rotate around the large gears, so we call this gear a planetary gear layout, so we call this planetary gear reducer a Planetary reducer.

Second, planetary reducer commonly used terms to explain:

Working life: The accumulative working time of the reducer under rated load and rated input speed.

Rated torque: It is the long-term running torque that the rated life promises. When the output speed is 100 rpm, the service life of the reducer is a uniform life. When this value is exceeded, the average life of the reducer will be reduced. The gearbox malfunctions when the output torque exceeds twice.

Noise: Decibel in dB (A), this value is actually input speed 3000 rpm, without load, measuring value at intervals of 1 meter intervals.

Backlash: the input is fixed, the output clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, when the output is subject to positive and negative 2% rated torque, the output of the reducer by a tiny angular displacement, this angular displacement is the return clearance, Also called "backlash." The unit is "minute", which is 1/60 of a degree.
