What are the running-in problems of the hollow cup DC geared motor?

The hollow cup reduction gearbox has a long service life and is easy to running-in. How to solve these problems? Let us introduce the three running-in problems of the reducer.


1. Fast wear

Due to the influence of the processing, assembly and debugging of the hollow cup geared motor components, the contact area of the mating surface is small, and the allowable torque is large. During the operation of the reducer, the concave and convex parts on the surface of the part are frictionally engaged with each other, and the ground metal debris is used as an abrasive to continue to participate in the friction, which accelerates the wear of the mating surface of the part.


2. Leakage

Due to the looseness of the parts, the vibration and the influence of the heating of the traveling reducer, the reducer leakage surface and the pipe joints may leak. Some defects such as casting are difficult to find during assembly and debugging, but due to vibration during operation. , impact, this defect is exposed, showing leakage (seepage) oil. Therefore, there is occasional leakage during the running-in period.


3. Poor lubrication

Due to the small fit clearance of the newly assembled components and assembly and other reasons, the lubricating oil (fat) does not easily to form a uniform oil film on the friction surface to prevent wear. Thereby reducing the lubrication efficiency, resulting in abnormal early wear of the machine. In severe cases, the friction surface of the precision fit may be scratched or bitten, resulting in failure.
